Lena is such a key component of SLIDIN STARS program. She took 3rd
at The APHA World Show Cutting Derby the only time shown and is already proving
to be a great producer.. She was purchased after her show career and
has
since then concentrated on being bred to the industries Top Guns.
She is a producer of an APHA Zone 1 Paintorama
Cutting and Reining Champion.
SLIDIN STAR unfortunately lost Lena the morning of
05/07/2005. Like the leader of the herd she always was, she led the way in
producing performers in the Reining pen an Cutting pen alike. Before leaving she
left a final impact on Slidin Star by foaling a gorgeous tobiano filly by
Futurity Champion ROYAL FLETCH. Lena will always be remembered and deeply
appreciated here at Slidin Star for her grace and her foals.
